Keyboard navigation
Interactive controls are reachable without a mouse, with a logical order and visible focus indicators.
YonfòsCommunity participation should be open to everyone. We are building Yonfòs so people can report concerns, follow local action, and contribute using the devices and assistive technologies that work for them.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing part of design, writing, development, and testing—not a one-time checklist.
The site includes practical support for common ways people browse and interact.
Interactive controls are reachable without a mouse, with a logical order and visible focus indicators.
Headings, landmarks, labels, link text, and status messages are written to provide useful context.
Text, controls, and status treatments use strong contrast, flexible layouts, and more than color alone.
Animations and transitions are minimized when reduced motion is requested in your device settings.
Some map interactions and third-party sign-in or payment interfaces may not yet provide the same experience with every assistive technology. We are reviewing these paths as the product develops.
If a barrier prevents you from reporting a problem or joining an action, contact us. We will help you access the same information or service another way.
Our review plan covers keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, reduced-motion preferences, screen-reader semantics, and current desktop and mobile browsers. Formal assistive-technology and independent conformance testing are still to come.
Tell us what is getting in your way and we will do our best to provide support or an accessible alternative.
