Agreement and eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If the law where you live requires permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized organization, you must have that permission before using Yonfòs.

If you use Yonfòs for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

What Yonfòs provides—and what it does not

Yonfòs helps people document local problems, share context, organize safe community action, support approved campaigns, and keep outcomes visible. A report, pledge, campaign, or work session does not promise that Yonfòs, a public agency, or another participant will complete the work.

Yonfòs is not an emergency, medical, legal, engineering, financial, or government-response service. Information on the platform is community information, not professional advice.

Accounts and responsible participation

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

• Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate, or expose another person.
• Do not post unlawful, deceptive, dangerous, defamatory, or deliberately misleading material.
• Do not publish private documents, precise personal locations, faces, or identifying information without permission.
• Do not interfere with the service, automate abusive activity, evade safeguards, or misrepresent community support.

Reports, photos, comments, and other content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to share it.

You give Yonfòs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, moderate, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Yonfòs service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained for safety, legal, backup, or audit purposes.

Moderation, verification, and appeals

Yonfòs may review, limit, hide, reject, remove, preserve, or refer content or activity when reasonably necessary for safety, accuracy, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms. Moderation decisions do not guarantee that content is complete, safe, or accurate.

When an appeal or correction path is available, use the notice or contact information provided with the decision. We may ask for additional context before restoring content or changing a status. Resolution verification follows the review process shown in the product at that time.

Community actions and work-session safety

Participation in a community action or work session is voluntary. Follow local law, site rules, organizer instructions, and ordinary safety precautions. Do not enter restricted property, perform regulated work without authorization, or undertake a task beyond your skills.

Organizers and participants are responsible for assessing conditions, permissions, equipment, and risks. Yonfòs may pause or remove an activity that appears unsafe, but it cannot supervise every event.

Campaigns, payments, refunds, points, and rankings

Financial support is available only when an approved campaign is open and payment controls are active. A third-party payment provider may process the transaction under its own terms. Yonfòs records a contribution only after receiving verified confirmation from that provider. Contributions are not described as escrow.

Any fees, refund eligibility, campaign target, use of funds, or cancellation terms must be shown before payment or in the campaign details. Campaigns may be paused or closed for safety, verification, refund, payment, or legal reasons. Applicable law controls where it gives you additional rights.

Points, badges, and rankings recognize recorded participation. They are not cash, property, employment, voting rights, or a guarantee of status. Yonfòs may correct them when activity is reversed, duplicated, abusive, or recorded in error.

Privacy, location, and intellectual property

Our Privacy Notice explains how profile information, reports, media, activity, and location data are handled. Public map locations may be rounded, while precise coordinates may be retained for authorized review, distance checks, safety, or legal requirements.

The Yonfòs name, logo, interface, original text, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Yonfòs materials or allow use of our branding in a way that suggests endorsement.

Availability, suspension, and termination

Yonfòs is evolving and may change, pause, restrict, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will try to communicate material changes when reasonably possible.

You may stop using the service at any time. Yonfòs may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the platform, legal compliance, or the integrity of community activity. You may contact us to request account deletion, subject to records we must retain.

Disclaimers and limits of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yonfòs is provided “as is” and “as available.” Community content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, and participation may involve real-world risks.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Where a limitation is allowed, Yonfòs is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, third-party services, or conduct outside its reasonable control.

Disputes, changes to these Terms, and contact

Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern fairly. These Terms do not remove rights you have under applicable consumer or local law. Any governing-law, venue, or dispute requirement must comply with the law that applies to you.

We may update these Terms as the service develops. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate channel. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept them where permitted by law. The current version will remain available on this page.
